"People ask me who Dylan Krueger is. For me, it started when we were in high school.

We met working at a summer camp. We were both assigned to wash dishes during the weekend retreat.

Whether it was as a counselor or leading activities, I saw someone who genuinely cared about the kids around him. Before we met, I never thought I would live in Delta. But once we were making plans for where we were going to settle down, Dylan's love for the community made the decision easy.

Safe neighborhoods, parks full of families, people who know their neighbors, a community that feels like home. And that's what I want for our kids. We're not here for 4 years.

We're here for the long haul. So, when Dylan asked me if he should run for mayor, I knew he should because I know why he's doing it.

He's doing it for our kids, for your kids and grandkids, for our seniors and those who want to make Delta their forever home.

Delta has given our family so much. Now it's our turn to give back and build an even stronger Delta for the next generation."
