Dylan was first elected to Delta Council in 2018 and is now serving his second term. A seasoned public affairs professional, Dylan has led strategic communications, community engagement, consultation, and media relations for some of British Columbia’s most consequential policy, planning, and infrastructure initiatives. He currently serves as Director of Public Affairs for the BC Dairy Association. Dylan believes government must get back to basics — delivering reliable services that people depend on every day. As a councillor, he has fought for stronger public safety, dependable roads and infrastructure, and vibrant parks and recreation programs. He champions accountability, transparency, and fiscal discipline, and he builds consensus across diverse interests to move practical, measurable projects from planning to completion. Running with One Delta, Dylan is focused on keeping taxes low, enhancing constituent service, and restoring common-sense priorities so families and businesses can thrive. Born and raised in Delta, he and his wife Katie live locally with their daughter Sophia, son James, and their yellow lab, Kobe.

Jennifer Johal

First elected to Delta Council in 2022, Jennifer Johal brings experience in education and business to local government. A graduate of Simon Fraser University with degrees in Geography and Education, Jennifer began her career as an elementary school teacher, where she developed a strong commitment to leadership, advocacy, and community building. Jennifer later transitioned into the private sector and now manages her family business, Raja Trailer and Equipment Sales, located in Delta’s Tilbury industrial area. Through her work, she has gained firsthand insight into the needs of local employers, workers, and families, and understands the importance of a strong and competitive local economy. At City Hall, Jennifer serves as Chair of the Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism Committee and as Council Liaison to the Delta Chamber, where she works to strengthen relationships between local government and the business community. Jennifer believes local government should be accessible, inclusive, and focused on delivering real results. As a councillor, she is dedicated to supporting local businesses, young families, and vibrant neighbourhoods, while building trust and ensuring every resident feels heard.

Daniel Boisvert

Daniel Boisvert has called Delta home for more than 50 years and brings deep community roots and professional experience to City Council. A graduate of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, Daniel became a Notary Public in 2008 and manages his practice here in Delta. He has held senior leadership roles in the notarial profession, including four terms as 2nd Vice President of the Society of Notaries Public of British Columbia and six years as inaugural President of the BC Notaries Association, which he helped found to support advocacy and continuing education for BC Notaries. Daniel was elected to the Delta Board of Education in 2018, later serving as Vice Chair, and believes strong public education is essential to building healthy, resilient communities. In 2022, he was elected to Delta Council, where he also serves on the Delta Police Board. He is a former Director of the Heron Hospice Society of Delta, supporting compassionate care for individuals and families during life-limiting illness. Daniel lives in Delta with his wife Sandra, the General Manager of the Tunnel Town Curling Club, and their two children, Noah and Abby. He is passionate about public service, responsible governance, and strengthening the community he has long called home.

Rod Binder

Rod Binder has lived in Delta for over 35 years, where he and his wife raised their two children. He brings more than 40 years of senior leadership experience in sales, marketing, and business management, including over three decades in the print marketing industry, leading major promotional programs for Fortune 500 companies across North America. In 2022, he was elected to Delta Council. Rod has served on numerous corporate and non-profit boards, including the Delta Parks Commission, Deltassist, the Delta Police Foundation, and international organizations supporting education in Africa. He also serves as a Director for the Fraser Valley Regional Library. Through these roles, Rod has focused on strengthening community services and supporting residents in need. As a councillor, Rod is committed to fairness, accessibility, and public engagement. His priorities include services for low-income families, mental health supports, domestic abuse prevention, anti-bullying initiatives, and senior housing and care. Rod believes municipal government should focus on core services such as reliable infrastructure, public safety, community programs, and well-managed growth. He supports reducing barriers and adding appropriate housing density through meaningful public consultation to meet community needs, manage costs, and reflect local priorities.
