Delta is at a crossroads. Flanked by the Fraser River, anchored by farmland and connected to major regional corridors, we have the geography, the community spirit and the raw potential to become one of the most livable, economically vibrant and forward-thinking municipalities in the Lower Mainland. That potential is real. And it’s time to build a Delta for the future. Delta is a community we all love, one that is safe, neighbourly and full of promise. That's why we call it home. But realizing that promise requires leadership with a vision bold enough to match it. We believe it's time to get back to basics with leadership that listens, plans ahead and reflects the priorities of people in every neighbourhood. One Delta is a growing movement committed to steady, community-focused leadership. Our candidates come from across Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen — fourteen people from diverse backgrounds united by a belief that Delta is strongest when it works together. We're focused on practical results: building the infrastructure families rely on, supporting responsible economic growth, investing in recreation and youth, and restoring transparency and collaboration at City Hall. In the weeks ahead, we'll continue highlighting the ideas that matter to residents — things like building a new recreation centre for North Delta, the revitalization of Paterson Park into a community events space, establishing Delta's first dedicated economic development office, and restoring citizen-led committees so people have a real voice again. These aren't slogans. They're concrete commitments that reflect what we've heard in every corner of the city. They're the building blocks of a Delta that plans for the future instead of reacting to it. The opportunity in front of us is significant. Delta can be a place where families choose to put down roots for generations, where local businesses grow and new ones invest, where young people find recreation, purpose and a future — and where every resident, in every neighbourhood, feels genuinely heard. That Delta is within reach. It won't happen on its own. It takes a team with the drive to pursue it, the plan to deliver it, and the humility to do it together. Delta's best days aren't behind us. They're waiting to be built. It's time for leadership that delivers. It's time for One Delta.
